Delete your account

Deleting your account is permanent and removes all of your data.

Delete from the app

1. Open MemoBox and go to the Profile tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account: your profile, contacts, events and birthdays, reminders, followed holidays, and settings. This cannot be undone.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You don’t have to delete your account to remove data. Any contact, event, birthday, reminder, or followed holiday can be deleted individually in the app, and it’s removed from our servers immediately. For anything you can’t remove in the app, email help@getmemobox.com from the email address on your account and tell us what you’d like deleted.

What we keep

Aggregated analytics, crash reports, and purchase records may be retained for a limited period for security, accounting, and legal compliance. After deletion they are no longer linked to an active account.

A note about MemoBox Pro

Deleting your account does not cancel a MemoBox Pro subscription — subscriptions are managed by Apple and Google, not by us. Cancel it first in your device’s subscription settings (App Store → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions), or you’ll keep being charged.

Can’t sign in?

If you can’t access the app, email help@getmemobox.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll verify it’s you and confirm once it’s done.
